2010 Slam Dunk Contest – Speed Artist Dan Dunn paints the dunk contest participants

The field for the 2010 Sprite Slam Dunk contest was revealed at a ceremony at New York’s Penn Station on Martin Luther King Day, just downstairs from Madison Square Garden. Speed artist Dan Dunn was on hand to create portraits of the participants — New York’s Nate Robinson, Charlotte’s Gerald Wallace, and the Lakers’ Shannon Brown — on giant canvasses.
