Ultimate Assist on Facebook

by Charlie on March 12, 2009

Now hoops fans can take a break from writing “25 random facts” notes and werewolf bites, and actually do something productive while wasting time on Facebook.

Wilson Sporting Goods — the guys who made Tom Hanks’ buddy in the movie Cast Away — have teamed up with the NCAA to create Wilson Ultimate Assist. The Ultimate Assist Facebook application allows you to pass virtual basketballs to your friends. For each pass, Wilson will donate 10 cents to Coaches vs. Cancer.

Wilson Sporting Goods is again supporting Coaches vs. Cancer during the NCAA tournament. We appreciated your support last year and we are hoping that you’ll make mention again this year of this fun, easy application. Anything from a mention in your next post, a link on your site or a free banner ad on your site would help considerably! We will very happily link back and acknowledge you to our Facebook fans and Twitter friends.

Please let me know if you’d like to join in this wonderful opportunity. You can contact me through the email and number below. If you’d like more information, just ask. Thank you! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
