There’s been a lot of talk this season about the Knicks’ youth and talent. On Wednesday night, against the Clippers, we saw the down side of a young roster: Inexperience loses games.
The Knicks should have had a major “fresh legs” advantage in their first game since Sunday’s win over the Sixers. The Clippers were playing the second half of a road back-to-back, having lost to Orlando on Tuesday – which ordinarily will leave a team dragging. But for most of the game, the roles were reversed: The Knicks allowed Blake Griffin and company to build a 20-point lead before mounting a comeback that came up short.
