Durant’s Dagger Extends Knicks’ Losing Streak

by Charlie on January 23, 2011

A fadeaway three-point bomb from Kevin Durant with 1.5 seconds left in the game sent the Knicks to their sixth consecutive defeat on Saturday night in Oklahoma City.

The Knicks led for most of the game, and held a six-point lead with just over three minutes remaining, but couldn’t close out the Thunder. Raymond Felton missed three shot attempts in the final minute-and-a-half. Shawne Williams fouled Russell Westbrook after the second miss, and OKC’s point guard tied the game from the free-throw line, setting up Durant’s buzzer-beater.
