There are seven days left to cast your votes for the 2010 NBA All-Star game. Here’s a look at some of the players you may see in Dallas on February 14th?
- Why vote for Steve Nash? Well, he’s approximately 1,000 times more deserving than Tracy McGrady. And besides, as he’d tell you himself, he’s awesome.
- Allen Iverson holds a commanding lead for a starting guard spot, but he hasn’t decided whether or not he’ll participate in the game this year. Iverson has actually played pretty well since signing with the Sixers, but he’s been in and out of the lineup due to nagging injuries and an arthritic knee.
- With the lineups more or less set, we can start thinking about reserves. Howard Beck of the New York Times says David Lee can make a pretty compelling case for an All-Star berth as the East’s second center. The Knicks haven’t had an all-star since 2001, when both Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell were named.
