Two key members of the Louisville Cardinals spent the night in Clark County Jail.
The players — Terrence Jennings and Jerry Smith — were involved in a fight at a party in Jeffersonville on Saturday night. According to police reports, Jennings refused to cooperate with off-duty officers investigating the fracas and was booked for resisting arrest — a misdemeanor. Smith got involved at that point and was also charged with resisting arrest. According to a report in the Louisville Courier-Journal, officers used a taser to subdue the 6-10 Jennings.
