Jason Kidd Draws a Foul on Atlanta Coach

by Charlie on March 1, 2010

Heady players are adept at initiating contact with the opposition as a means of drawing fouls. Usually, though, “the opposition” is restricted to the players in the game.

For Jason Kidd, that’s an unnecessary limitation. During Friday’s game against the Hawks, Kidd noticed Atlanta coach Mike Woodson straying a little too far over the sideline as he barked instructions to his defense. Kidd made a beeline for Woodson, and threw a little forearm shiver his way.
