Developing one’s “off” hand — the left, right righties — is one of the toughest skills for a basketball player to master. Even at the NBA level, certain players have the reputation of favoring one hand or the other — a tendency that scouts are quick to point out.
Which makes the basketball career of Kevin Laue even more impressive. He’s earned a scholarship to play Division I hoops is even more remarkable considering that he has no left hand.
