The Northeast and Big Sky Conferences crowned champions yesterday — and 14 of 65 spots in this year’s NCAA Tournament are now officially spoken for.
Northeast Conference: The Colonials’ stifling defense held regular-season champions Quinnipiac to just 50 points and won Robert Morris a second straight NEC Title and automatic bid.
Big Sky Conference: Montana mounted a furious comeback from a 22-point deficit to beat Weber State for the Big Sky title.
