The Bulls have dealt disgruntled forward Tyrus Thomas to the Charlotte Bobcats, in exchange for guards Acie Law and Ronald “Flip” Murray and a draft pick.
Thomas seems like a good fit for the Bobcats, who have been hit with a number of injuries in their frontcourt. Larry Brown will now have the option of using Thomas at power forward and sliding Boris Diaw over to center.
Flip Murray could be an interesting player for the rest of this season, potentially in the “offense off the bench” role that John Salmons filled so well last season after coming over from Sacramento.
