The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team won their 89th consecutive game last night, dismantling 20th-ranked Florida State by a score of 93-62.
Their win streak has now surpassed the longest in Division I men’s basketball history; John Wooden’s UCLA Bruins won 88 straight between 1971 and 1974.
