The much-anticipated debut of Miami’s “Big Three” lasted all of three minutes, as Dwyane Wade suffered a hamstring injury and left the Heat’s preseason opener early in the first quarter.
Even without one-third of the Wade/LeBron James/Chris Bosh trio, Miami had little trouble dispatching the Pistons, rolling to a 105-89 preseason win over Detroit. Bosh scored 20 points, James added 18 and Udonis Haslem had 14 points and 13 boards. As expected, point guard Carlos Arroyo and center Joel Anthony joined Wade, James and Bosh in the starting lineup.
