You might think the biggest issue facing the Knicks during their visit to Oklahoma City would be coming up with ways to stop Kevin Durant.
You’d be wrong.
The Knicks’ biggest problem before last night’s game: ghosts. At least two members of the team claimed they had trouble sleeping because their hotel was haunted.
According to local legend, a woman leaped from the tenth floor of the Skirvin Hotel while holding a baby, and their ghosts continue to walk the halls. Eddy Curry was the only Knick assigned a room on the tenth floor. He told The New York Post he spent most of his time in Nate Robinson’s room. (Not that Curry’s lack of sleep made much of a difference — he hasn’t appeared in a game since December 17.)
Maybe they should have paid a little more attention to Durant, who scorched New York for 30 points, as the Thunder blasted the Knicks, 106-88.
