Mike Woodson’s tenure as coach of the Atlanta Hawks is over after six seasons, Sekou Smith of NBA.com is reporting.
Woodson compiled a record of 206-286 with the Hawks and led the team to the Eastern Conference semifinals in each of the last two seasons. But both those playoff runs ended badly; the Hawks were swept by Cleveland in the 2009 semis and by Orlando this year.
